A collaboration with MIT’s Department of Nuclear Science and Engineering and the MIT Nuclear Reactor brings you “A Day in the Life at a Nuclear Reactor,” “5 Things You Wouldn’t Expect from a Nuclear Reactor,” “What’s the Difference Between a Nuclear Weapon and Nuclear Power?” “What is Nuclear Waste?” and “What Does a Nuclear Engineer Do?” This series applies research on communicating complex and controversial science and technology topics, as well as learning sciences research on teaching through misconceptions.
